Erban Spa opportunities are now available in selected areas throughout New Zealand.
Our first franchise opened near the Avonhead Mall in Merrin Street, Christchurch. In July 2016 erban Spa Nelson opened in a boutique historic building on the tree lined Nile Street near the Centre of town. The fitout is beautiful and they have a great relationship with nearby hotels and locals.
If you are interested in being self employed and working for yourself (but not by yourself) then maybe an Erban Spa is the opportunity you have been looking for.
What are the benefits of running your own Erban Spa?
Well firstly, you’ll be fully supported every step of the way. That includes analysing potential locations and helping with leases, interior design and fit-out. It also includes full access to our contracts, computer and web systems, training, equipment, products, advertising….well you get the picture!
The first Erban Spa opened in a suburban Dunedin location in March 2006. Within the first year that business was returning a profit. Not bad for a new ‘start up’ Spa business in a conservative place like Dunedin! But it could have been better, a lot better! As part of the learning curve of our new business we made plenty of mistakes in the early stages. We like to think we learnt a lot from those mistakes and as a result future Erban Spa owners will benefit from that experience as well as our collective individual business acumen, and the industry specific expertise we now have. Words are cheap so lets back that up with a little bit about ourselves. All four business owners have high level managerial backgrounds in Business Development Management, Hotel Management, University Executive Education Management and Product Distribution and Franchise Management. You’ll agree that’s a heck of a lot of ‘Management’. All we really need is someone with a bit of ‘get-up-and-go’ and we’ll help with the ‘management’ side of things.
Ideally, the best ownership model for an Erban Spa is an owner operator, but it’s also very suitable for ‘passive’ investors. Regardless, you don’t have to have specific industry related experience, because you will have the benefit of our experience and support.
The potential financial rewards in this huge growth industry are endless. It just happens to be an added bonus that the working environment is warm, comfortable and smells divine. It helps too that your customers look forward to their Spa experience and it’s a rare occasion that first time customers don’t go on to become ‘repeat’ customers.
Of course you will want to know what an Erban Spa is likely to cost you. You may be very pleasantly surprised but before we get to that stage we should really get to know you first.
